Isla Middleton graduated from Falmouth University in 2016 where she studied textile design, specialising in print.
With a passionate interest in creating aesthetically pleasing textiles for the home, Isla sources inspiration for her designs from plant forms, flowers and natural colours from her immediate surroundings, focusing on shape, form and texture. Her work is driven by the extensive range of possibilities that are just waiting to be explored, from sourcing visual imagery right through to translation onto fabric. Developing drawings through the use of printmaking techniques has become a particularly exciting and compelling method of creating design work for her, adding unique character and movement to her patterns.
Isla has created designs for a number of interior and clothing brands including Sanderson, Morris & Co, Zoffany & Whitestuff.
